I’m Olena Hastilow.

I was born in Ukraine, but I’ve lived in the UK for over 25 years and now call rural Staffordshire home.

Over the years, my love for photography has grown into a creative practice that allows me to capture genuine emotion, personality, and the quiet beauty in everyday moments.

My approach is friendly, relaxed, and centred on making you feel comfortable so your true self can shine in front of the camera. I believe photography is more than a session – its an experience, and I want you to enjoy every moment of it.

Alongside my work, I will be sharing thoughts and stories on my blog, where I willwrite about my creative process, recent shoots, and the inspiration behind some of my favourite images. It’s a space where I will explore ideas, challenges, and the artistry that shapes my photographic style.
