WOMAN WHO HAS NO VOICE

Woman Who Has No Voice is a year-long self-portrait photography series unfolding across 52 images. The work explores silence as something carried within the body - inherited, internalised, resisted, and slowly transformed. By returning to the same subject body week after week, small visual changes are allowed to build over time. Using restrained gesture, fabric, and subtle mixed media layers, the series observes how silence shifts from an imposed condition toward a self-held state, existing without the need to speak or resolve.
