Updated: Apr 23

The structure begins to fail. What once held the body together loosens, and the form no longer settles into a stable position. Fabric shifts and separates, no longer containing but moving independently across the surface.

The disruption builds rather than arrives suddenly. What was previously held in place becomes unstable, and the body can no longer maintain the same coherence.

Week 11 – Disturbance

Around the face, the material no longer conceals or supports in the same way. It drifts, partially obscuring and partially revealing, marking a point where containment gives way to uncertainty.

Week 12 – Fracture

This moment marks the end of the first chapter of the project. What began as an external condition has now moved inward and disrupted the structure itself. The following work will explore what happens after this break – not resolution, but reorganisation.

Week 13 – Threshold

Thank you for continuing to follow the work as it unfolds.
